I use the monitoring with PS5 without any problems.
1440p resolution and 144Hz refresh rate: The Samsung Odyssey G5 supports 1440p resolution and 144Hz refresh rate on PS5. This gives you smooth and clear gameplay. However, you must use a DisplayPort cable to get the full 144Hz refresh rate. If you use an HDMI cable, you are limited to 60 Hz.

Yes, it will work, but you won't be able to enjoy 21/9 on the ps5, which takes 16/9 into account. Basically you can play with it but you'll have two huge black bands on the l side. I'd recommend a basic 16:9 editor to get the most out of the screen.
