I would like to install this elgato in my pc so that I can stream at the same time the same pc is the gaming computer. Is this better than with obs? Because I don't want to have any loss of performance in the game

A brief explanation of what a capture card does:
With the capture card you can record your main PC with a separate machine.
So as long as you don't have a separate steam machine, you will always have losses.
