I would like to equip the system with more RAM as I also need it for software development etc. The question is, which LPX kits could I mix with the existing 2x 8GB (2666) and up to which clock rate the board/CPU supports? How much RAM is max here? 64Gb or more? Does it make sense to add e.g. 2x 16GB DDR4-3000 or is it not possible to use more than 2666 clock anyway?
Hi
Maybe the "U" version would also be an option? Joule Force Nuke RTX3070 II7 U (Intel Core i7-10700F, 32GB, 1000GB, 2TB, SSD, HDD)
In general, however, we recommend using the same RAM.
The motherboard goes up to 2933Mhz, so a DDR4-3000 would simply throttle to 2933Mhz. And in total you could upgrade up to 128GB RAM.
I hope this helps and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us directly at https://www.jouleperformance.ch/kontakt.

I just saw that there are clock speeds up to 4000. How much is supported in this system?
