I want to purchase this monitor for work. However, I‘m not allowed to download any programs at all. Will this monitor require any installations for optimal use?

Better not do that. OLED displays are still not suitable for work. There are two reasons for this. On the one hand you have the problem of burn-in and on the other hand there is text fringing, which can be very unpleasant. Most people don't really like the Curve for office work either, but that's a matter of taste.

No, no extra software necessary. Just check whether your graphics card can handle the resolution of 5140x1440 via the available interface (hdmi/displayport/usb-c).

No, you dont need to install anything. Just make sure youre graphicscard can handle the 5120x1440p over its available interface (hdmi/dp/usb-c)
My pc has hdmi and my laptoo uses usb-c as a displayconnection.
