Question about Seagate Backup Plus Portable Drive

I received the Seagate Backup Plus Portable Drive (5TB) today. However, I have not yet been able to activate the 256-bit hardware encryption (indicated as 'Yes' in the Digitec 'Properties'). In the Seagate Toolkit software, Seagate Secure is described, but only the 'Seagate Backup Plus Ultra Touch' is listed as supported devices (I cannot find such an option in my installed Toolkit software). How can I simply activate encryption?

I don't think there's anything you can do. The hard disk comes with a simple backup software that does not encrypt anything. So it's useless. The hard drive is otherwise very good and inexpensive.
