I looked at a frame in the digitec showroom today with initial intentions to buy and was extremely disappointed with the Art Mode: it is subjectively extremely dark, white is not white - and apparently cannot be adjusted in brightness.

The brightness can be adjusted. However, the picture then looks more like a normal screen and the power consumption is higher.

The colours are effectively muted in Art Mode, I feel that way too. It's not an art picture like you can see in a gallery. I'm sure it also has to do with the power consumption.
