I have the problem that a MacBook Air M2 with this adapter is very difficult to connect to an external monitor (iiyama ProLite, 4K) via HDMI. Sometimes the monitor gets no signal at all and you have to unplug the adapter and plug it in again, sometimes the signal is lost 2-3 times before it is stable and it takes about 1 minute until the picture is there. Is my adapter defective or is it not compatible with the MacBook Air M2?

I have now found the cause. I had plugged in a USB receiver of the Logitech MX Master 3S mouse, which probably interfered with the entire USB-C hub including the display output. It's probably a Logitech problem... Since I have a USB 2.0 hub in between, everything works perfectly.

Hello. Difficult to say. Personally, I use this adapter with a MacBook pro M1. I've never had any particular problems... Having said that, perhaps it's a problem (not mentioned) with the monitor? Have you tried with lower resolutions?
