In principle, the WN3000RP-2000PES is sufficient. The problem with access points is that they generally increase the ping, which is not necessarily desirable for online gaming. The EX7300 offers fast lane. This allows you to connect from the router to the AP at 2.4GHz and then from the AP to the computer at 5GHz. This is supposed to improve performance. However, it is in a different price class.
