I have now bought the SSD with a separate heat sink from Icy Box. The SSD only comes with a sticker on top. The installation of the heatsink says that you should remove stickers before installing the heatsink. However, Western Digital's user manual says that removing stickers will void the warranty. Should I mount the heatsink on top of the sticker? Won't that drastically reduce the cooling effect?
