Assuming you meant "software" :) (Hardware is everything you can touch)

You can control the product (and many other Razer products) with "Razer Synapse". This is a free software that you can download from https://www.razer.com/software. There you can also control the different Razer products. There you can choose the different light effects and synchronise the lights of all your Razer devices.

There might be a manual, but the software is very easy to use and you can't break anything :) If you want to get a feel for the settings, I recommend searching for "Razer Synapse" on YouTube.


By the way, you don't "have" to download anything specific with this product. You can also use the product as a mouse pad without plugging it into your PC/laptop. Of course, the lights don't work then :)
