I have an old Ipod Classics. Did I understand correctly that I can connect it to the system via USB and play music? After all, it says so in the specifications: USB Features iPod/iPhone/iPad compatible, playback from external memory

I can't answer this question because I don't own an Apple device. I would certainly not buy the SC-PMX94 again because 1. the sound is underground and 2. Panasonic support is non-existent.
