I have a Swisscom box Vivo M , the line is 100Mbit/s download. I would like to increase the signal in the basement and on the first floor. Should I buy a Devolo 1200+ or 550?

Be sure to buy the 1200+. Depending on the line, there is not much more than 100 Mbit/s left. The transmission in one direction theoretically brings 600 Mbit/s. With a few disturbances in the power line and the corresponding line length, the throughput is then reduced quite quickly.
