Question about LG HU70LS

I have a distance from the screen to the lens of exactly 4 metres, as the projector is on a shelf and the motorised screen is mounted on the ceiling (I currently have the BenQ W1100 HD projector). Would the LG 4k HU70 LS manage this distance with a max screen width of 240 cm ? Thanks for a competent answer hpscherrer

... is, by the way, an ingenious beamer point absolutely top. Even usable in daylight. Disadvantage 1: in dark scenes, the depth of field and contrast are not top. You would have to have at least a special screen (grey tone, less scattering effect). Disadvantage 2: the price agreement of the Swiss suppliers, or the price dictate of LG, as you take it.

I have not mounted it permanently. Distance approx. 3.40m. I can easily manage a width of 3.20m.

Since I am mobile, I have now tried your mass. It's really not possible to achieve a relatively small width from too far away. Either mount it on the ceiling a little further forward (use the commenter's link), or do as I do, mobile on a small table. The big advantage of this is that you can also use it loosely elsewhere.

Hello hpscherrer
As my previous commenter wrote, this is not possible.
You can check your options with the following link:

Note: the projector should be positioned as centrally as possible to the screen so that a consistently high image sharpness is possible across the entire width of the screen.

Hello hpscherrer.
The problem is not whether the beamer can do it, and with a distance of 4.0 metres it will create a lot of width. At this distance, however, the minimum width of the screen is 2.67 metres, i.e. in order to have the picture nicely on the 2.4 metre wide screen, a beamer distance of only 2.88 - 3.60 metres is possible.
