Question about WD Red Plus

I currently have 4x1TB in a (very quiet) home server. I am thinking of replacing them with 2x3TB or so. Are the WD Red quieter than the WD Blue?

The WD Red are louder (31-34 db(a)) than the Blue (21-24 db(a)), they also spin faster. Personally, I would never use desktop hard drives like the WD Blue for home servers or NAS, they are not designed for this. I have the NAS with 2x3 TB WD Red right next to the PC. You usually only hear the disks rattling consciously during intensive backup runs. In normal operation they are barely perceptible.
