I bought this monitor in December 2022 for use with USB C with the supplied cable. This is a very short cable, 1m. I asked Dell if it was possible to order a longer cable or what type of cable to buy. The answer is that cables longer than 1m are not compatible. So this monitor is "USB C compatible but max. 1m".

Hi! I had the same problem. I bought a longer cable and it works without any problems. You just have to make sure that it's a 'good' USB-C cable and not just one that's meant for charging.
