Question about Roline DisplayPort — DisplayPort
I bought this cable with the intention of running on my Samsung S34J79x at full resolution (3440 x 1440) at maximum frame rate (100Hz). Unfortunately, this is not possible. 800x600 pixels is the maximum of feelings. Above that, the screen remains black. With my current HDMI cable, I sporadically have picture dropouts (black picture or noise) of up to 3 seconds. This is quite disturbing and very annoying, especially in games. Who can recommend me a suitable Displayport cable that really works flawlessly and at max. resolution and 100Hz?

I am currently running my AOC CQ27G2U/BK on 2560×1440 at 144hz. While your resolution is slightly different from mine, it shouldn't make a significant difference. Since you are having problems with different cables, this is unlikely to be the problem. If you could tell me what specifications your PC has, I can tell you if your graphics card is too weak for the screen. It would be ideal if you had a second PC so that you could test whether the fault lies with the PC or the monitor. Just tell me your graphics card and CPU and I can tell you if the error is there :)
