I bought the headphones and use them mainly from the sofa, plugged into a USB DAC/AMP. The enclosed stretched cable is a bit tight, the grooved one pulls too tight at this distance. Will I suffer any loss of quality if I run a 5m audio extension cable in the skirting board and plug my headphones in there with the enclosed cables? Which extension cable is suitable without losses?

Here are two examples of extensions.
But the basic principle remains: keep the cable as short as possible!
Is there a way to place the DAC closer to the sofa?
