I assume you can also record the PC with this card, right?

Yes you can, I tried SW solutions but didn't get on well with any of them.
I now do my Let's Play with the Elgato Game Capture HD 60 Pro.
You have to loop via HDMI from the Graka to the Elgato and adjust the screen division in the control centre and that's it.

Only if a signal comes from another PC via HDMI and you want to receive it on your computer for recording.
If you want to record your own PC, for example for Lets Plays or tutorials, software tools such as dxtory, Fraps or OBS are suitable for livestreaming/recording.
