I also intend to listen to CDs with the player. Which cable do I need to buy, plus an adapter with RCA output, plus an HDMI cable for TV connection. Thank you very much!

Hi daniegevem,

the playable CDs with this unit are: CD-DA (Audio CD) , CD-ROM , CD-R/CD-RW. This product is designed to play discs that conform to the Compact Disc (CD) standard. DualDiscs and some of the audio discs encoded with copyright protection technologies do not conform to the Compact Disc (CD) standard. Such discs may not be playable by this product. The unit has DIGITAL OUT (COAXIAL):RCA jack/0.5 Vp-p/75 Ohm'

The Blu-ray player does not have an analogue output, but the sound is output digitally via Cinch, so you can use a normal stereo analogue Cinch cable to connect it to a digital amplifier input. Or simply connect it to the HDMI input of a surround amplifier, or to a TV, basically anything goes. But only digital.
