I already have a wall mount (Vogels Thin 550), do I assume it is compatible with this model? Do I still have to choose wall mounting for delivery, even though the mount is already installed?

As far as I know, your wall bracket is compatible. LW is for the wall and a bracket is included in the delivery. I would definitely choose wall mounting, the other model is with a base.
