How much space is taking up the power plug? Is it blocking the neighboring sockets?

The power unit is quite large at: 9x5x3cm and when plugged in, overhangs the neighbouring power socket(s) by 6.5cm

The power plug connects on the left side of the hub, there are no USB ports there at all, only the power connection. The 7 USB ports are on the front, no interference. There are two charging ports on the right side, fairly far apart, so easy to connect to as well. I can warmly recommend this device.
