How is it possible that this TV has a higher picture quality index (2300) than the 8000 model (UE-49MU8000)? Isn't there some kind of mix-up?

Hello, the figure of 2300 is wrong for the 49" - only the larger panels have a PQI of 2300. The 49" model has a PQI of 1900. Unfortunately, the old technical data sheet from March is linked for the Mu7000, which shows 2300 for all panels. It's also wrong for the Mu8000 - the Mu7000 is also linked, but the new May version - where you can see my above statement confirmed. Last but not least, Samsung itself seems to be inconclusive - in relation to the 7000, it lists 1900 for the 49" and 2200 for the 55" and 2300 for the 65" and above......
