Question about Fibaro HomeKit
How exactly do I set up and operate Apple HomeKit, via Bluetooth or WLAN? Do I then have to pair the switch with my iPhone via BT so that it appears in HomeKit? I.e. as soon as I leave my house, the switch loses the connection to HomeKit? Or does it have its own Wi-Fi receiver/transmitter to stay connected to HomeKit?
The Fibaro Single Switch can only use Bluetooth (BLE). Set up via iPhone, via the Fibaro App and the Homekit App (Home). If you are not at home, you need a hub (e.g. Apple TV or iPad) that can control the Bluetooth devices.
