The new MagSafe (Qi 2.2 charger) supports wireless charging with up to 25 W for both iPhones and compatible Android devices. This means that iPhones continue to charge as quickly as before, while Android devices also benefit from the new standard.

By comparison, MagSafe (2020-2024) only offered up to 15 W for Qi devices and was only of limited use outside the Apple ecosystem.
