How does this board work if you want to connect 5.1 audio analogue? I would want to do this with Linux... Do the audio jacks detect by themselves if they are microphone and line input, or just rear speaker and sub/center? Or do you have to set something in the operating system?

you should be able to set it with pulse... otherwise just mess around with the driver... xD
