Question about Sony FE 24-240mm f/3.5-6.3 OSS

How does the image quality compare with that of the E 18-200mm f3.5-6.3 for an A7ii? (apart from the different focal length). Looking for travel zoom with as good image quality as possible.

The 18-200 is an APS-C lens and makes no sense on an A7II. That's why the comparison is completely pointless. For the A7 series there is currently only the 24-240. Tamron will introduce a 28-200 next week.

Travel zoom with the best possible BQ... I use the Sigma 18-200 C (Canon) + MC-11 on the A6000/A6300, but I wouldn't use an APS-C lens on an A7 II, there's only 10MP left.

A6000 + MC-11 + 18-200 = 1080.- CHF

The differences in image quality are very small. I know both lenses and would recommend the 18-200 for the A7ii as it is a lot lighter and therefore more practical for travelling.

From SEL24200 I have yes with A7Rii. But I haven't tested SE18200 lenses yet, so I don't think this is very different from SEL24200. But despite that I am very satisfied with SEL24200 for allrounder travel.
