How do I set the scanner to run over the feeder? Currently, the scanner only scans over the surface.

If the sheet feeder is meant, only printing is possible.
Scanning is possible via the document feeder (or scanner glass), but the "HP Scan" software must be installed (this software should be able to scan via the document feeder).
