How can I play content that I have created on the laptop on the Sonos Five via the 3.5mm connection? It doesn't work for me somehow. What else do I need to set up?

Nothing... 3.5 mm audio input with automatic detection.
3.5 mm headphone jack with automatic detection.
Volume control!?
