How can I disable duplex on this printer, or better, print single-sided by default? I want to print single-sided by default and only double-sided when I explicitly select it. I can't remember where to look for this default setting.

Helpful answer

If you operate the printer normally on a Windows PC (or network), then you set this in the printer settings. These settings are then always used as the default in programmes such as Word, etc. etc.
Windows - Settings - Printers & Scanners - HP Color Laserjet ... and set the settings under "Manage".
