How can a maximum of 1200Mbit/s be transmitted when it only has a 1000Mbit/s LAN connection? Marketing?!

it is about the total network capacity with DLAN, you can operate more than 2 of them in the mains, let's say there are 8 devices in the mains, then they all share the maximum capacity of 1.2gbit, so if everything is under full load, only 150mbit arrive at each endpoint with equal bandwidth consumption.
