The model available here can cope with an input voltage of 220-240V, it is not intended for 110V.

Hey guys. I have now clarified this with Sony. I have asked Playstation experts twice, both of whom have confirmed that all new devices have autovolt. Unfortunately, a Sony technician then confirmed to me that this is not the case. There are countries where the devices must have autovolt. In the EU and Switzerland, however, all devices are only equipped with 220v. A pity really.
