What do you think you can achieve with 4000 and co. if your CPU is only designed for up to 2666 Mhz? It won't be any more, you can put whatever you want into it.

If you do a lot of video editing, it's nonsense to buy loads of RAM. Retire the 8700k and buy something up-to-date.
I'm currently using a Z790 and 17-14700k with 360 Wakü and also only DDR4 3200 and it goes off like Schmidt's cat.
