However, one must be aware that the hard disk comes formatted in NTFS. I assume that you can also change the file system when choosing the raid level. I changed mine from Raid 0 to Raid 1 and as far as I remember the file system was selectable. But since I only eat apples while looking through the window, I can't confirm this with absolute certainty.

Runs flawlessly for me on MacOS Catalina, no problem with the previous versions either.
