Hello Is the difference between the over-ear and the on-ear only the size? Are the two headphones otherwise identical? Or can the over-ear, which also costs more than 100 francs more, also shine with more than the small one?

I'm not sure if the sound transducers are slightly larger on the over-ear - there's nothing on the Sennheiser website and the technical data is the same. The other difference between the two is the material: leather for the over-ear and Alcantara (imitation leather) for the on-ear.
The damping of the over-ear is somewhat better. But beware: the over-ear has quite small ear cups - my not very big ears almost don't fit in - nevertheless it is very comfortable to wear. And without having tried the smaller one, I can't imagine such a full sound with on-ears.
