Question about Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve Dongle

Hello I have 2 questions. 1. this product is the 16 version. Can I also buy this and then update to the 18 version free of charge? This should not be a problem from the 17 to the 18 version. 2. dongle, how does that work? I understood that I can use the programme on several devices, but only 1 at a time, and this by means of a dongle key. Thanks in advance. Stephan

Hey :)

Well, with my dongle I was able to upgrade to Studio 18.1 without any problems and free of charge. You always have access to DaVinci via SD card or USB stick, but note that one of the two data carriers must always be plugged in to be able to access all Studio benefits.
