Upon activation, the latest version of the programme and its database are automatically updated. The updates then take place regularly and automatically for as long as the activation is valid, normally 1 year. I have had Kapersky IS for over 10 years and am very happy with it.

The product is certainly up to date, it has nothing to do with the 2020 version but rather whether the databases are updated several times a day and that is the case.
