Yes, it can, but it is definitely not recommended.
it is a nas disk, which is designed for 7*24h operation. since a pc usually puts the disk into sleep mode when not in use, you will not be able to "enjoy" it for very long. the constant start-up processes of a pc also cause the disk to wear out much faster!
please note: seagate rejects all warranty claims in case of defect, if it is determined that the disk was not used properly (pc operation). i just experienced this myself. however, i don't know how digitec handles this. my tip: buy a decent desktop variant or even better an ssd (for the system) and a desktopplatte for the data... :)

That should work without any problems. But the operating system must also be able to handle the size, which can be a problem.
