Hello PC Freaks I would like to buy an ASUS ROG STRIX Z590-F GAMING WIFI and this be quiet! Dark Rock 4 for the CPU. With the RAM banks, is it still possible to occupy all 4 banks without any problems or is the fan of the be quiet! Dark Rock 4 in the way? The DDR4 RAM would be: G.Skill Flare X (4 x 8GB, DDR4-3200, DIMM 288 pin) If anyone has any idea please let me know, no estimates please. Thanx in advance to Digitecler

I have mounted the fan on the other side so that it sucks through the radiator. Also works

When selecting the RAM, the maximum permissible height for the Dark Rock 4 must be observed (-> be quiet! website).
If this is exceeded (e.g. due to RGB junk on RAM bars), only two bars can be installed on the B banks instead of four.

I don't think it's a good idea to simply mount the fan on the other side, because this can be tricky with the brackets and mounting (the cooling fins don't fit either), and it's also not a good idea to change the entire airflow concept from blowing to sucking, because the airflow through the cooler is then lower (the blade profile of the propeller is designed for one mode). The radiator will then certainly not develop its full cooling capacity, which can lead to instabilities or worse at high loads.
I simply turned the cooler completely upside down - the "be quiet!" lettering is upside down. This is no problem with an AM4 because the contact surface of the CPU fan and the mounting rail fit symmetrically in both directions. I don't know how it looks with Intel CPUs.
It is important, however, that the cooling concept of the case must also be changed. Usually there is an exhaust fan at the rear of the case at CPU height. This must either be turned around or installed in a different place, otherwise it will steal air from the CPU cooler.

It is best to either use a suitable RAM (height or only two bars) - or a different cooler.
