Question about WD My Book Duo
Hello, my Raid 1 mirror setting is not activated. But I already have 4.7 TB on one hard disk. I have now already transferred the data to the 2nd Wd disk with a hard disk cloner. Process completed after one day. However, the 2nd hard disk is not recognised (both formatted NTFS), neither as a single hard disk nor as a second one. But I want to save the data. So that I can make the correct setting for Raid1. Mirroring. What do I have to do? (I cannot make the settings afterwards on an almost fully loaded hard disk).

You need to have both disks empty first.
It's quite nice of WD to take away the option to select the disk with the data on it, other software would just delete the data. Then you would have RAID, but no data.
So the only solution is to copy the data to another disk, set up RAID in the My Book Duo and copy the data back.
You can use the other data medium for occasional backups.

Sorry Anonymous. You were right with your answer. Unfortunately, I could not copy the 6 TB WD Red disk with my HD Cloner. Do you know which one I should use for such a large amount of data?
