Question about smart Scart to HDMI Converter
Hello, my new question is still about the VCR-TV connection, which only works for sound but not for picture. I still have a blue TV screen with the message "no signal". The video recorder is a Samsung SV-242FB. The menu is very small. I can't specify PAL TV or anything equivalent. I tried the few menu options, but it didn't make any difference. I'm beginning to think that the VCR is too old to work on a modern TV. Before I return the converter to Galaxus, does anyone have any other ideas on how I can get the picture with this converter?

I bought the same device in January 2021 and also had problems. Too long ago to remember the details, anyway it didn't work. (Just my device faulty, or a fundamental problem?)
Digitec credited me the amount. However, I then chose a different product:
Marmitek Connect AH31 (analogue -> digital).
This worked straight away and still does today.
Please note: You cannot use the Scart plug directly; the input is 3 coax (see photos of the product).
