It is compatible as both will be seen in iCue but the use different controllers QX fans use the new iCue Link controller whereas other Corsair fans use the Commander/Commander Pro controller those 2 are very different and do not interface with each other. But you can control them all via iCue software

Yes, you can also use the CORSAIR iCUE LINK QX120 RGB fans on a H150i LCD Elite. You still need to use the controller (Commander CORE) of the H150i LCD Elite to control it. Also, make sure that you control the fan power depending on the liquid temperature of the AIO. This is important so that the cooling performance of the AIO is not affected.
