I have 17000x on Asus Prime B350. I went back to Win7 after 2 months with Win10, and I don't know my PC anymore: it runs massively(!) faster. To install Win7 you need a Win7_ISO with SP1(!) and a tool from the mainboard manufacturer that generates a new ISO to burn a DVD, or makes a USB stick with Win7 incl. all drivers, in my case it was the EZInstaller from ASUS and worked quite well.
You need the modified ISO or USB stick with drivers because Win7 does not support USB3 and M.2-SSD (pretty stupid to install Win7 without a USB keyboard/mouse...).
