Hello, Is it possible to "control" Spotify on the iPhone (pause song / next song / volume if necessary)? In the brochure (under Downloads) it only says "Music player control for the smartphone" => It is unclear to me whether this is only possible for Apple Music or also for Spotify on the iPhone. Since I use wired headphones, downloading the music to the watch itself is not a solution for me.

First of all: I use an Android smartphone. It is possible to change the song from Spotify via Vivoactive. You can also adjust the volume. Whether headphones with BT or wired is irrelevant and I assume that this also works with iOS.
