Hello, I would like to connect my macbook pro Retina 15 inch from mid 2014 to a 32 inch monitor via thunderbolt. However, the graphics card (Nvidia Gforce GT750m) outputs a maximum of 1440p at 60Hz. Is this monitor worth it or should I rather get one in WQHD? The application is for home office and Ableton. And isn't WQHD too pixelated at 32"? (Seat distance about 80 cm) Lg Daniel

Hi, so as far as I know, the 2014 MacBook Pro 2 has Thunderbolt 2 ports. The display does not have Thunderbolt, but it does have USB C. The connection should be possible with an adapter. I have a MacBook Pro M1 2021 and it works without any problems. I can't say much about the possible resolution, because I previously had a 5K screen, also from LG, and in comparison I don't have a "pixelated" picture, even if the quality doesn't match the 5K.
I also have no problems when editing images. The different resolutions can be selected on the screen.
I really like the ergonomics of the screen.
