Hello ! I treated myself to this device and since the original DP cable from Samsung is too short, I continued to use my existing one, which I previously used on the 49" G9. As long as the 57" runs at 5120x1440 pixels, up to 240Hz is also possible, but only with the setting "Displayportvers. 1.4" on the G9. If I increase the resolution to 7680x2160, only 60Hz is available. When I select "Displayportvers. 2.1" my picture flickers. Is my problem now the DP cable I am using which is running at/above the limit and is therefore apparently a "version 1.4" cable? Which would be the right one for "2.1" if Digitec only sells "2.0" at most? Thank you for any answers/thoughts! Merci & a relaxing Sunday to you all!

Hello, you must use either a DisplayPort 2.1 cable or an hdmi 2.1 cable and your computer must have a GPU capable of driving the 7680x2160 resolution. I have a MacBook Pro M3Max that does handle this, but no other Apple Silicon- nor Intel model does. If you’re a Windows user, you’ll need a pretty hefty Nvidia card to drive the screen at this resolution.
