Hello I have an HP Omen with a 280W charger. Would this dock work to charge my laptop (knowing that my laptop has a Thunderbolt port)?

I have a Omen with 280 w power adapter too. This dock can power up the machine, but only with both thunderbolt and the charging cable. Hope this helps.
