Hello, I have a Lenovo Thinkpad T590 and want to upgrade it. I thought about this SSD. According to my research, size 2280 is also installed in this laptop (a WDC PC SN730). Can I install this SSD without hesitation, or are these parts not compatible? Is there anything I need to consider before installing it, e.g. data?

Yes, 2280 is only the shape of the M.2 SSD. The important thing is whether your laptop has PCI 4.0 or 3.0. Both work, but with 3.0 the SSD does not have the maximum speed. Buy a cheaper one with PCI 3.0. For everything else, there is the Internet and a search function
