Hello, I have exactly the same problem, I have noticed that the headphones do not work if the "target device" has Bluetooth V.5.0. (e.g. P30 pro / Samsung s5e). I then wanted to return the headphones as I had not even worn them, but this was not possible as they are a "hygiene product". I asked JBL about it, the first time they said there was no problem, the second time they told me it was a known problem. So I had to cut the heads off the brand new headphones as proof and was then sent a new pair. Unfortunately, exactly the same problem, I can't connect a device to BL V5.0. Hello, actually it should work. You have to put the JBL Mini into transmitting mode. The LED on the JBL Mini must flash alternately red and green. After that, it should be visible on your smartphone on available devices. All you have to do is connect it. Greetings
