Question about Apple Studio Display Standard
Hello everyone I also bought an Apple Studio Display, ordered it from Digitec.ch and it produces a great picture. However, I have noticed something that bothers me a little: If you look at it from the side, it has a red cast. I have a new iMac next to it and it also has no colour cast when viewed from the side. The display was not supplied to me with the Swiss plug, but with the EU version. The adapter wasn't included either. So I went to FUST and bought an adapter... Can the red tint be related to the adapter? I searched the whole Internet, but nobody had such a problem. Years ago I had a cheap Samsung and the picture was yellow in the side view. I also have the red tint, but I've only just noticed it because I never look at the screen from the side...
Hello everyone; the adapter was included in my scope of delivery. I now have two Apple Studio Displays that work perfectly without a red cast.
The plug was supplied with mine. But this is not a special plug. My screen has no red cast. Maybe you should do an update. If you have the screen connected to a Macbook and check for updates with the Mac, it will also check for updates for the screen. Maybe an update will solve the problem.
I can't say where the red cast comes from. But it has 150% nothing to do with the fixed adapter. Unfortunately.
