Hello dear forum (1) Does anyone have experience with underwater use? I guess you shouldn't dive many more than a few meters, right? And also higher speed under water is probably crap? (2) What about the WG2 by Feiyu Tech (IEC IP67 rating) COMPARED to ... - GoPro SLICK (only splash water, right?) - REMOVU S1 - Karma GRIP - OTHERS? Greetings & best thanks in advance! Sandro
Hello Sandro!
I can only partially answer your question, but:
You should only use the FeiYu Tech WG2 in splash water. However, if it falls into the water, nothing will happen. In general, I would rather count on an action camera with optical stabilisation (with 10% crop). Nowadays, the new GoPro Hero 8, for example, already has extremely good image stabilisation on board!

Hi Sandro!
After my last river hike, water got into my WG2 gimbal. The positive thing was that the device continued to work despite this. On the negative side, I couldn't switch it off on the way. At home I opened it up and left it open for 24 hours to dry out. It works, everything is fine. Compliments to the manufacturer, because the soldering board is sealed with protective lacquer in an exemplary manner. Short immersion is still possible if the temperature difference between air and water is not too high. (Vacuum effect).
